Terms & Conditions – RatLocker™ Sales

1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions apply to all sales of RatLocker™ products (HDPE rat trap boxes, standard and slim versions, spare parts, and accessories) by RatLocker™, based in The Netherlands. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
2. Orders & quotes
- All orders are confirmed via email (info@ratlocker.com).
- Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
- Prices are in Euros (€) and exclude VAT and shipping unless noted.
- We reserve the right to refuse any order.
3. Pricing & payment
- Prices are provided on request, depending on version, quantity, and options.
- Payment methods: Bank transfer (iDEAL, SEPA) or invoice for approved business accounts.
- Full or partial payment may be required before production.
4. Custom orders
- Custom colors, logo printing, or other modifications are available for bulk orders (minimum quantity applies).
- Custom orders cannot be cancelled or returned once production has started.
5. Shipping & delivery
- We ship worldwide from The Netherlands.
- Delivery times are estimates: production typically 2–4 weeks, plus shipping time (depending on destination).
- Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery. Inspect the package immediately and report damage to the carrier.
6. Returns & cancellations
- Standard units (non‑custom) may be returned within 14 days of delivery, unused and in original packaging. Return shipping is your responsibility.
- Custom orders (including custom colors or logos) cannot be returned.
- Defective products: contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos. We will repair, replace, or refund at our discretion.
7. Warranty
- HDPE housing: 5 years against cracking, UV degradation, and material failure.
- Internal catch cage and mechanism (stainless steel/steel parts): 2 years against manufacturing defects.
- Normal wear, misuse, vandalism, or improper cleaning is not covered.
8. Limitation of liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a product is limited to the purchase price of that product.
- We are not liable for indirect damages (e.g., lost profits, pest control costs, reputational harm, or non‑target animal catches).
- It is your responsibility to comply with local animal welfare laws and to check the trap as required.
9. Maintenance & service contracts
- Service contracts (weekly emptying, cleaning, rat removal) are available through licensed local contractors.

10. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes arising from a sale shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. If unresolved, disputes will be submitted to the competent court in The Netherlands.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Changes apply to orders placed after the "Last updated" date.
